Share(Lansing, MI) - Han Duk-soo, the current Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the United States and former prime minister of South Korea will talk to local business leaders about expanding trade opportunities during a special forum planned for August 19th.. The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC), in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Global Business Club of Mid-Michigan (GBC) are sponsoring the event planned as follows:

The global economy provides growth opportunities for businesses that can navigate the world of international business. Ambassador Duk-soo is expected to provide insight on the pending U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement as well as discuss opportunities to strengthen trade relationships between greater Lansing businesses and Korea's $1 trillion economy. Attendees will also hear from Dave Regan, president and CEO of Lansing-based Plas-Labs, Inc. Mr. Regan will discuss how his company secured business opportunities in Korea and how Plas-Labs currently exports to Korea.
